Proprietors Michael and Melissa Ninos opened V Restaurant and Bar in 2004 as a welcome addition to the Murphys California dining scene. Immensely popular since its inception, V offers the most upscale dining experience in Calaveras County. They have been able to entice outstanding chefs into their kitchen, including Bob Anderson of the Ahwhanee Hotel in Yosemite and currently, Daniel Murray Executive Chef from the Den of Hollywood in West Hollywood. In 2011 the Ninos’ opened V Bistro and Bar to offer a casual European style eatery. Both are adjacent to the Victorian Inn, owned by the Ninos’ since 2001.
